Habrůvka (German Habruwka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 15 kilometers northeast of the city center of Brno and belongs to the Okres Blansko .

geography

Habrůvka is located in a forest clearing in the Drahaner Bergland on the edge of the ChKO Moravský kras protected landscape area . To the south and west is the valley of the Křtinský brook.

Neighboring towns are Rudice in the north, Jedovnice in the northeast, Křtiny and Březina in the southeast, Ochoz u Brna , Obce and Kanice in the south, Babice nad Svitavou and Ptačinek in the southwest, Adamov and Huť Františka in the west and Josefov and Olomučany in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the place belonging to the Obřany lordship was in 1365, when Čeněk Kruschina von Lichtenburg and Jan von Pirkenstein jointly assigned their wives the income from the villages of Útěchov, Vranov , Brodek and Obřany as personal items. Later Habrůvka became part of the new Ronov castle lordship . After Ronov had fallen in the 15th century, the Černohorský von Boskowitz struck the village of the Nový hrad rule . In 1567, the rule of Nový hrad including the castle, the farm and the villages of Olomučany , Habrůvka, Březina , Babice , Kanice , Řícmanice , Bílovice and the desert village of Jehnice were also hereditary in the land table Albrecht Černohorský von Boskowitz. In 1604 Maximilian von Liechtenstein , who had been married to Katharina Černohorský von Boskowitz since 1597 , inherited the rule. The villages belonging to Nový hrad were later united with the Černá Hora estate . In 1645 the Swedes captured Nový hrad Castle and burned it down, the first mention of the Vokounka cave near Habrůvka comes from this period. The Nový hrad forest district was divided into the three districts of Vranov, Olomučany and Habrůvka in 1704. In 1768 the village consisted of 16 chalets. The Liechtenstein landlords of Habrůvka remained until the middle of the 19th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Habrůvka / Habruwka 1850 a municipality in the district administration Brno . The village school was inaugurated in 1884. The district Josefov / Josephsthal has belonged to Habrůvka since the end of the 19th century . In 1901 the volunteer fire brigade was founded. After František Blatný discovered a clay and kaolin deposit, mining began in 1905 by the Princely Liechtenstein Mines in Habruwka. The factory employed 40 workers. In 1910 Habrůvka consisted of 97 houses in which 602 people lived. In 1921 Habrůvka was assigned to the Okres Brno-venkov . In 1931 there were 116 houses in the village. From 1936 the Výpustek cave was used by the Czechoslovak army. After the German occupation in 1944 was one in U-displacement object of Flugmotorenwerke Ostmark furnished. Habrůvka has been part of the Okres Blansko since 1948 .
