Bedřichov (German Friedrichsfeld ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 15 kilometers southwest of Boskovice and belongs to the Okres Blansko .
geography
Bedřichov is located on a plateau in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village lies in the headwaters of the three streams Bedřichovský, Lysický and Lhotecký potok. The Láze (642 m) rises to the west and the Babylon (656 m) to the south.
Neighboring towns are Tasovice and Hluboké in the north, Touboř and Kunice in the northeast, Lhota u Lysic , Štěchov and Lačnov in the southeast, Kunčina Ves and Kozárov in the south, Žleby in the southwest, Osiky and Brumov in the west and Černovice in the northwest.
history
Bedřichov was first mentioned in a document in 1392.
From 1850 to 1960 the village belonged to Okres Boskovice and after its dissolution came to Okres Blansko.
