history

The first documentary mention of the mining settlement Lacznow , which belongs to the Žerůtky estates of the Pernstein domain , dates back to 1540. At that time, a lead mine was operated near Lacznow. After Hron von Náchod had acquired the settlement in 1590, he proposed it to his rule Lysice . Lacznow consisted of 8 houses in 1718. In 1739 an iron ore mine started operations, which supplied the Blansk ironworks. From 1750 lead and silver were also mined, this mining ceased in 1785. In total, 4000 quintals of lead and silver ore were mined in the Lacznow mines. An iron hammer was in operation at Lhotecký potok . Iron ore mining, which had since been discontinued, was resumed in 1800. In addition, a melting furnace was built to melt the iron for the Blansko ironworks. Because of the falling yield, iron ore production was stopped again after a short time. In 1834 the village consisted of 23 houses and had 137 inhabitants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lačnov formed with the district Sčechov from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Boskovice . In 1854 Lačnov had 211 inhabitants. In 1869 Lačnov became part of the Sčechov municipality. After the dissolution of Okres Boskovice, the municipality came to Okres Blansko at the beginning of 1961 . Lačnov had 70 inhabitants in 1991. In March 2001 there were 33 houses with 65 residents in Lačnov.
