history

Kunčina Ves was probably founded in the 13th century by the Lords of Lomnitz. The first written mention of the village, which had previously belonged to the Lomnice rule , was made in 1392 when part of the village was sold to the Lysice rule . In 1658, Ferdinand Leopold Count Březnický von Náchod on Lysice also bought the Lomnicky share, so that from that point on the entire village became subject to Lysice. He had a manorial court built and the village enlarged. In the second half of the 17th century the place name changed to Kunčinov .

After the abolition of patrimonial Kunčinov formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Boskovice . In 1900, 313 people lived in the 36 houses of the village. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1912. In 1927 the syringe house was completed. In the course of the land reform in 1924, the manorial court was parceled out. In 1925 the place was renamed and got its original name back Kunčina Ves . The school location was initially Bedřichov . With significant support from Count Dubský von Třebomyslice at Lysice Castle , a school was inaugurated in Kunčina Ves in 1939, to which the children from the neighboring village of Kozárov were also enrolled. After the dissolution of Okres Boskovice, Kunčina Ves came to Okres Blansko at the beginning of 1961 . In 1969 the school was closed and the children were retrained to Lysice. A culture hall was inaugurated in the school building in 1976, and the municipal office also found its new domicile there. On July 1, 1980 it was incorporated into Lysice. The community has existed again since 1990. In 2000 the village consisted of 39 houses, 23 of which were permanently inhabited.
