Míchov (German Michow , also Michau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northwest of Boskovice and belongs to the Okres Blansko .
geography
Míchov is in the Boskovice furrow . The village is located in the basin of the Míchovský creek, which flows southeast of Míchov into the Semíč. In the north rises the Písečný vrch (522 m), northeast the Hora (544 m), in the southeast the Hodiška (410 m), south of the Kopanisko (405 m) and in the west the Skřib (470 m). To the southeast lies the route of the unfinished Vienna – Wroclaw Reichsautobahn .
Neighboring towns are Podolí in the north, Vísky in the northeast, Bačov in the east, Hodiška in the southeast, Chrudichromy and Svitávka in the south, Sasina in the southwest, Zboněk in the west and Jindřichov and Letovice in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village was made in 1169 in a deed of donation from Vladislav II for the Hradisko monastery .
After the abolition of patrimonial Michov formed a parish in the district administration Boskovice from 1850 . Between 1939 and 1941, construction work for the Reichsautobahn Vienna-Breslau took place southeast of the village . At the beginning of 1961 Míchov was assigned to the Okres Blansko . In 1986 it was incorporated into Letovice . The community has existed again since 1992.
