history

The first written mention of the place belonging to the Boskovice rule was in 1505. The owners of the village at that time were the Lords of Boskovice . In 1547 the Boskowitzers sold the rule including the villages of Valchov , Velenov , Žďárná , Ludíkov and Protivanov to Simon Eder von Sstiawnicz ( Šimon Eder ze Štiavnice ). The neighboring town of Holíkov has been considered desolate since 1567. In 1569 the Zástřizl family acquired the property. After the lords of Zástřízl became extinct in the male line, Susanne von Zástřízl sold the Boskowitz reign in 1689 to Count Walther von Dietrichstein . The oldest local seal dates from 1703. At the beginning of the 18th century the village consisted of 18 properties. In 1793, 283 people lived in the 43 chalets of the village. In 1848 the place had 467 inhabitants and had grown to 58 houses. Until the middle of the 19th century, Újezd always remained submissive to Boskovice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Újezd formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Boskovice. The elementary school in Újezd was established in 1862. After the Dietrichstein family died out, the goods fell to Count Mensdorff-Pouilly in 1864 . In 1900, 602 people lived in the 99 houses in the village. At the beginning of 1961 Újezd was assigned to the Okres Blansko . In 1981 Újezd was incorporated into Boskovice. In January 1993 the community was re-established and since then it has been called Újezd u Boskovic . The village has always been parish after Doubravice nad Svitavou .
