history
The first written mention of the village took place in 1349. Over time, the place was referred to as Chuděchromy and Chrudichrom . From 1539 Chrudichromy belonged to the Boskovice estate .
After the abolition of patrimonial Chrudichrom formed from 1850 a municipality in the district authority Boskovice. At that time, weaver cards were grown in Chrudichrom , which were sold as far as Hamburg , Leipzig and Berlin . The municipality has been called Chrudichromy since the end of the 19th century . Between 1891 and 1892, a one-class village school was built with the support of 1000 guilders from Emperor Franz Joseph I. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1905. In 1910, half of the village burned down in a large fire. In the same year coal mining began on the Trníček hill. A community library was set up in the school in 1920. In 1923 coal mining was stopped due to poor quality. In 1930 there were 378 people in Chrudichromy. The Dorfbach was regulated in 1935. On the western periphery of the village, construction work for the Reichsautobahn Vienna-Breslau took place between 1939 and 1941, for which 18 hectares of land were annexed. In 1976 it was incorporated into Boskovice. The community has existed again since 1992.
