Rozseč nad Kunštátem (German Rosetsch ob Kunstadt , formerly Rossetsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northwest of Kunštát and belongs to the Okres Blansko .
geography
Rozseč nad Kunštátem is located in the mountains of the upper Swratka , part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands , in the basin of the Rozsečský creek. The village lies on the border between the Halasovo Kunštátsko and Svratecká hornatina nature parks. The state road I / 19 runs through Rozseč nad Kunštátem. The Kamperk ( Kammberg , 640 m) and Kocholík (651 m) rise to the north, the Kulíšek (692 m) to the south, the Třešinka (651 m) to the southwest and the Horničí (701 m) to the west.
Neighboring towns are Rozsíčka in the north, Sulíkov and Petrov in the northeast, Rudka and Makov in the east, Sychotín and Touboř in the southeast, Hluboké u Kunštátu and Tasovice in the south, Josefov, Žalov and Hodonín in the southwest, Čtyří Dvory , Prosetín and Louka in the west as well as Křtěn and Crhov to the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Roseč came in 1350 when Jenec von Lomnice sold the village to Smil von Kunstadt . In 1374 Heralt von Kunstadt attributed the goods in Makov , Sulíkov , Ústup , Rudka, Petrov , Rozsíčka and shares in Zbraslavec , Touboř, Sychotín and Roseč to his wife Jitka as trousseau. In 1406 their sons Jiří and Heralt von Kunstadt inherited the property. Silver ore was mined on Mount Horničí in the Middle Ages. In 1817 the Letovice deanery established a school in the village. In 1834 a bell tower was built on the village square. Roseč was always subject to the Kunštát rule until the middle of the 19th century.
After the abolition of patrimonial Rozeč formed from 1850 a municipality in the district authority Boskovice . In 1882 the road from Kunštát via Makov to Rozseč was built. In the same year, the municipalities of Rozeč and Makov jointly bought the former local court in Rozeč and converted it into a school building. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1884. At the end of the 19th century the village was called Roseč and from 1910 Rozseč . In the 1930s, the place name was expanded to include nad Kunštátem .
At the beginning of 1961 Rozseč nad Kunštátem was assigned to the Okres Blansko . In 1981 217 silver groschen were found during field work, the oldest was a Prague groschen minted in 1300, the youngest date from the time of Wenceslas IV. The kindergarten was established in 1979. Classes 1–5 are taught in the school in Rozseč nad Kunštátem today. From the 6th grade onwards, lessons take place in Olešnice or Kunštát. The community has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2005.

- Louky pod Kulíškem nature reserve, stream at the western foot of the Kulíšek, south of the village
- Natural monument Cukl a Rozsečské rašeliniště, on the southwestern edge of the village near Josefov around the ponds Bábina and Cukl
Sons and daughters of the church
- František Bělehrádek (1867–1935), educator and honorary citizen of the municipality. He was the father of Jan Bělehrádek .
