Hluboké u Kunštátu , until 1960 Hluboké (German Hluboka , formerly Hluboky ) is a district of the city of Kunštát in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers southwest of Kunštát and belongs to the Okres Blansko .

Hluboké u Kunštátu is located in the Upper Swratka Mountains , part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the area of the Halasovo Kunštátsko Nature Park. The Svratecká Hornatina Nature Park is to the south and the Lysicko Nature Park to the southeast. The village is located in the valley of the Kamínkovský brook. The Kulíšek (692 m) rises to the north, the Záhoří (594 m) to the southeast, the Hersica (672 m) to the south, the Kříb (671 m) to the west and the Třešinka (651 m) to the northwest.
Neighboring towns are Rozseč nad Kunštátem and Makov in the north, Rudka and Sychotín in the northeast, Touboř in the east, Zbraslavec and Kunice in the southeast, Bedřichov in the south, Brumov and Černovice in the southwest, Tasovice in the west and Žalov, Prosetín and Louka in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Hluboké was in 1351, when Heralt von Kunstadt left the village to Sudek von Veselí. In 1353 Kuno von Kunstadt and Lysice bought the property back for his five sons. From the lords of Kunstadt the Pernsteiner and 1529 the Černčický von Kácov acquired the village belonging to the Lysice domain in 1520 . In 1584 Hluboké was sold to the Lords of Náchod as part of the Lysice estate.
After the abolition of patrimonial Hluboky formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Boskovice . The place name Hluboké has been used since the end of the 19th century . When the Okres Boskovice was dissolved, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Blansko at the beginning of 1961 and received the official name affix u Kunštátu to distinguish it from a municipality of the same name . At the beginning of the 1990s, Jiří Doležel led search excavations on the medieval deserted area of Vznětín. On July 1, 1989, Hluboké u Kunštátu was incorporated into Kunštát . In 1991 the place had 93 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 46 houses in which 76 people lived.
Today, Hluboké u Kunštátu is primarily a resort. Two ski lifts operate on the Kříb in winter. Three downhill routes lead into the valley. There are also cross-country trails.
