Tasovice (German Tassowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 16 kilometers west of Boskovice and belongs to the Okres Blansko .
geography
Tasovice is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The Třešinka (651 m) rises to the north. The village lies on the border of the Halasovo-Kunštátko and Svratecká hornatina nature parks.
Neighboring towns are Louka in the north, Rozseč nad Kunštátem and Makov in the northeast, Hluboké u Kunštátu in the east, Kunice in the southeast, Bedřichov in the south, Černovice in the southwest, Hodonín in the west and Žalov in the northwest.
history
The first documentary mention of the village belonging to the Louka lordship took place in 1406. The place was then in the border area of the possessions of the Lords of Lomnitz with the families of Kunstadt , Pernstein and Boskowitz . In 1496 Wilhelm II of Pernstein bought the Louka castle with the associated villages Černovice , Louka , Poříčí , Hodonín , Tasovice and the small town Olešnice as well as the desert villages Německé, Milejov and Křižánkov from a branch of the Lomnick family. The newly acquired goods he struck the Pernstein dominion . Tasovice was subordinate to the local judge of Černovice from 1499.
From 1850 to 1960 the village belonged to Okres Boskovice and after its dissolution came to Okres Blansko. In 1913 a village school started teaching in Tasovice, previously Černovice was the school location. In 1940 the Hodonínek concentration camp was set up in the woods in the Rozsečský potok valley for Moravian Sinti and Roma, who were transported from there to the extermination camps. From 1976 to 1990 Tasovice was incorporated into Černovice.
