Lysice Castle
Lysice Castle (German: Lissitz) is a castle complex in Lysice in Okres Blansko in the Czech Republic .
The 15th century fortress was converted into a Renaissance chateau in the first half of the 17th century . After 1730 another renovation took place in the style of the high baroque . The last noble owners in the 19th century were members of the Dubský von Třebomyslice family, who had the chateau rebuilt by the local builder F. Vašíček in the 1830s. According to the draft of FJ Thalher one came pillars - Pergola , which closes the eastern part of the palace gardens.
The baroque and rococo furniture is complemented by collections of Bohemian glass and collections of oriental art objects. There is also a collection of weapons from Europe and Japan as well as hand-painted shooting targets . The most beautiful of the three palace libraries is dedicated to the famous Austrian writer Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach .
