Jevišovice old castle

The old castle Jevišovice (German Jaispitz ) is located in Jevišovice , okres Znojmo , Moravia on a spur above a meander of the Jevišovka . Opposite are the remains of the Jevišovice castle .

Two centuries later, the Renaissance chateau was built on the site of the original 15th century castle. The interior is mostly made up of painted rustic furniture . One of the owners and residents was General Albert von Koller , who was also buried here in 1942.
