Thomas Romeikat (born September 14, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player.

The junior national player Romeikat joined the professional team in 1983 as an 18-year-old from TSV Bayer Leverkusen's own A-youth team. At that time, the coach at the time, Dettmar Cramer, was increasingly relying on its own young talent and, in addition to Romeikat, brought three other promising talents into the Leverkusen Bundesliga squad. Romeikat did not get by in the 1983/84 season. It remained with missions in the DFB youth round . So he decided to move to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the 2nd Bundesliga. But the trained defender did not make the breakthrough there either, only made two appearances and turned his back on the club after only one season. From then on he played in amateur football.
