history
The village was probably founded in the 13th century and was part of the Lichtenburg estate . The first written mention of Rednowiz took place in 1269, when Smil von Lichtenburg gave the place together with Jursichowiz ( Jiříkovice ) to the Cistercian monastery Saar . After the establishment of the parish in Neustadtl , Radnowicz came to its district. When the Neustadtler pastor claimed the church tithe from Radnowicz , a dispute arose with the monastery, which was settled in Prague in 1397 in favor of the order. In the monastic land register of 1407, 14 subjects liable to pay tribute are listed for Radnyowieze , and there was also a free court in the place. In 1465 the village had 360 inhabitants and consisted of 57 houses. In 1667 the first place seal can be detected, which depicts a tree. In 1805 355 people lived in the village. In 1838 school lessons began in Radňovice, which the children of Jiříkovice also attended.
After the abolition of patrimonial Radňovice formed a municipality in the political district of Neustadtl from 1850 . After the school burned down in 1863, it was rebuilt jointly by the Jiříkovice and Radňovice municipalities. In 1891, 380 people lived in the 63 houses in the village. In 1895 the road to Jiříkovice was built. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1900. Between 1903 and 1905 the local railway Deutschbrod – Tischnowitz built the railway line from Saar to Tischnowitz . 1949 Radňovice was assigned to the Okres Žďár nad Sázavou . Between 1980 and 1990 the village was incorporated into Nové Město na Moravě. Today the Radňovice commune consists of 103 houses and has a coat of arms.
