history

The village of Rohy was located at the eastern foot of the Svatá hora on the site of today's Rohy hunting lodge. It was probably created in the first half of the 14th century. Subsequently, the village probably belonged to the possessions of Vladiken Bohuněk von Rohy and his brother Ješek Rohovec. In 1406 Ješek and Olga von Rohov owned the goods. The fortress and the village probably went out during the Hussite Wars , possibly even earlier.

Between 1560 and 1590, the rule of Ossow had the place Nové Rohy created as a replacement for the village of Rohy, which was abandoned by its residents. The new village was probably named Ondruschka at the end of the 17th century. At the end of the Thirty Years War, Ondruschka consisted of three farms. The village was first parish to Osová Bítýška and in 1788 it was repared to Březí .

After the abolition of patrimonial Ondruška formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Březí in the district administration Velké Meziříčí . At the end of the 19th century, the place name Ondrušky prevailed. In 1921 Ondrušky had 69 inhabitants.

In 1948 the village was assigned to the Okres Velká Bíteš. After its dissolution, Ondrušky came to Okres Žďár nad Sázavou at the beginning of 1961 . At that time the village was still inhabited by 54 people. In 2001, seven of Ondrušky's 20 houses were permanently inhabited and the place had 15 residents. In 1991 the place had 262 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 80 houses in which 278 people lived.
