Driss ben Hamed Charhadi
Driss ben Hamed Charhadi (real name: Larbi Layachi ; * 1937 ; † 1986 in California , USA) is a Moroccan narrator who is best known abroad for his book A Life Full of Pitfalls , which Paul Bowles recorded and translated into English . In German it was first published by Luchterhand in 1967 under the title Schuldlos guilty . In 1985 it was reissued in the series The Other Library .
