Cheddleton is a village in Central England. It is located in the Staffordshire Moorlands district in the county of Staffordshire , near the town of Leek , about midway between the large cities of Birmingham and Manchester .

geography

Cheddleton is located in the Roaches , a hilly landscape with characteristic individual farms, some of which date back to the 11th century. The hills are agriculturally suitable for meadow and pasture farming.

Town twinning

Since May 1989, Cheddleton has been twinned with the Upper Palatinate town of Mitterteich , where a street is named after the twin town . Both cities maintain their partnership through regular mutual visits and contacts.
