Old New Praga Synagogue (Warsaw)

The Old New Praga Synagogue of Warsaw was the synagogue of the Warsaw district of Nowa Praga (German: New Praga), which belongs to Praga-Północ (German: Praga-North).

The New Praga Synagogue was located in the Nowa Praga district of Warsaw.

In the beginning there was only one suburban Jewish community in Warsaw, living in the Warsaw suburb of Praga . Praga has been a district of Warsaw since the 18th century and was divided into Praga-Północ and Praga-Południe in 1945 .

The old New Praga Synagogue was located at 8 Bródnowska Street in Warsaw. It was built in the second half of the 19th century, although the building only offered space for 20 parishioners. The construction was financed by Ksawer Konopacki. In 1900 the new Neu Praga Synagogue was built in its place .
