The old school in Genheim

The old school is the former school building in the Genheim district of the Rhineland-Palatinate community of Waldalgesheim .

The plastered building was probably built as early as 1825 in the style of late classicism . The building was used for teaching until 1966. It was renovated between 1977 and 2000 in intensive and costly work. The renovation costs of the renovation amounted to around 1.4 million DM, of which Waldalgesheim took on around 900,000 DM and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate around 500,000 DM. It now serves as a village community center .
