Old St. George's Square
The Alte St.-Georgs-Platz is a square in the Milbertshofen-Am Hart district of Munich .
It is located between Moosacher Strasse and Motorstrasse and is the historic center of Milbertshofen . It was named in 1913 after the old parish church of St. Georg (D-1-62-000-224) built in 1510 at this place no . On the square are the two historical residential houses (No. 4: two-story, free-standing saddle roof construction, probably first half of the 19th century (D-1-62-000-222) and No. 5: two-story, free-standing saddle roof construction, around 1850 (D-1 -62-000-223)) other architectural monuments. In the building at Alter St.-Georgs-Platz 4 there used to be an inn; after all, until July 2018 it was the Milbertshofen district center of the non-profit association district work. Renovation work took place at the end of 2018. However, the municipal department rejected plans to set up a district museum on the grounds that the extensive restoration required for this was too expensive.
