Old brewery in Kempten

The Alte Brauhaus (also Altes Bräuhaus or Old Brewery ) is a listed brewery building from 1680 in Kempten . The address is Memminger Straße 2 .

It was built by Rupert von Bodman at the western end of the square in front of St. Lawrence Church . The facade facing the eaves was changed around 1920. After a fire, the function of the old brewery was relocated to the abbey malt house next to it, the so-called new brewery.
