The Altiplano is a small, 550 m high plateau in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the Denton Hills between the Findlay Ridge and the Miers Valley .
Participants in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1977–1978) named the plateau after its better-known counterpart, the Altiplano in the South American Andes.
