An Old Slavic carrying device (also Old Slavic suspension ) is a device for carrying saber scabbards .

Old Slavic carrying devices are characterized by their special arrangement of the carrying rings on the scabbards. These scabbards are made with a convex edge on one side . Metal rings are attached to this side, which are used to attach leather straps to carry the saber on the body. This carrying device was mostly used on Russian military sabers such as the shashka .
