Altwaidhofen

Altwaidhofen is a town in the municipality of Waidhofen an der Thaya in the Waldviertel in Lower Austria .

Altwaidhofen is on the other side south of the Thaya and thus opposite the old town, which is situated on a step , north of the Thaya.

history

The predecessor settlement of today's municipality originated in the 12th century and was mentioned in documents as an old settlement in 1230.
