The aluplast GmbH is a systems manufacturer for plastic windows and manufactures plastic profiles for windows and doors. The family-run company with its headquarters in Karlsruhe is represented internationally with sales and production facilities. Aluplast employs around 1,500 people, over 600 of them in Germany.
history
Manfred Jürgen Seitz founded Aluplast GmbH in Ettlingen in December 1982 by means of a management buy-out . Today the company is based in Karlsruhe; it is now run by his sons Dirk Seitz and Patrick Seitz.
In 1991 the company set up its first foreign subsidiary, the aluplast Ibérica SLU sales subsidiary in Spain (Bilbao). Today the group has 24 production and sales offices worldwide.
