Amazon Publishing

Amazon Publishing is a Seattle-based publisher owned by Amazon.com and founded in 2009. At Amazon Publishing include the Imprints Amazon Core, Amazon Crossing, Montlake Romance, Thomas & Mercer, 47 North and Powered by Amazon.

The first book to be published under the imprint AmazonEncore was Legacy by Cayla Kluver in August 2009.

In February 2018, Amazon Publishing announced the creation of a 15th imprint called Topple Books , where, from 2019, under the curation of Jill Soloway , gender issues in particular will be the focus, whereby “The imprint will focus on works by women of color, as well as writers who identify as queer and / or gender nonconforming ".

Ink & Pen is the name of the German-language publisher's imprint, in which contemporary and historical materials are published. Edition M is the crime thriller imprint for German-language crime novels and thrillers and 47North is the imprint for novels from the fields of science fiction and fantasy. Romance novels have been published in Imprint Montlake Romance and non-fiction books in Imprint Topicus since spring 2019.
