The Buchreport ( original spelling : buchreport ) is a two-issue trade journal for the German-speaking book trade .

The book report is published by Harenberg Kommunikation Verlags- und Mediengesellschaft , a subsidiary of Spiegel-Verlag , and publishes the weekly edition buchreport.express and the monthly buchreport.magazin. Their circulation in 2019 was 4,000 copies each. The monthly magazine contains accompanying key topics buchreport.spezial on individual book product groups such as children's and youth books, RWS (law, economics, taxes), fitness and health books, religion, calendars , audio books, etc. a. as well as on the subject of publishing production and publishing management. The journals are available in print and digital (e-paper), the articles in the journals are also published individually on www.buchreport.de behind a paywall, along with free reports that are updated every working day.

Buchreport creates and publishes Spiegel bestseller lists for the following book formats:
