The Manager Magazin (proper spelling: manager magazin ) is a 1971 monthly business magazine of Spiegel Group with a focus on corporate reporting and business. The sold circulation is 97,026 copies, a decrease of 20 percent since 1998.
history
The magazine has been published since November 1971 by Manager Magazin Verlagsgesellschaft mbH , which was founded in September 1970 and in which Spiegel-Verlag and, since 1986, Gruner + Jahr have been involved. By 1973 McGraw-Hill also had a 49% stake in the magazine. Gruner + Jahr also publishes the competing magazine Capital , which, however, has a different focus. In Manager Magazin Verlag mbH monthly magazine also appears Harvard Business Manager .
In 2004, two licensed editions of Manager Magazin were launched in Hungary and Poland. The Hungarian edition has been published under license by the Hungarian subsidiary of Axel Springer Verlag since 2007 . The Polish sister publication was discontinued at the end of 2008.
The Manager Lounge , a subsidiary of Manager Magazin Verlagsgesellschaft, is a network for managers who meet certain requirements (position, earnings).
Digital offer
Since September 2011, the paper has also been published as a digital edition in a browser-based web app. Apps have also been available for the Manager Magazin website since 2015. A paid premium subscription has also been offered since 2018, which also includes texts from the British weekly magazine The Economist .
