Ambarenstrasse 1
The house Ambarenstrasse 1 ( Latvian Spīķeru iela 1 ) is a listed building in the Latvian capital Riga .
It belongs to the Red Warehouses and is located at the northeast end of Ambarenstrasse ( Spīueru iela ) in the Moscow suburb of Riga . The north gable end of the building borders Gogolstrasse ( Gogoļa iela ), its eastern front faces Gaisingstrasse ( Gaiziņa iela ).
The building was built between 1868 and 1884 as a brick building. The bird figures placed on the roof ridge of the building are remarkable. Since October 29, 1998 the house has been registered in the Latvian register of monuments under the number 7889 .
