Ame Pal

According to legend, Ame Pal ( Tibetan : A-ma-dpal) was a warrior and founder of the Mustang Kingdom . In 1380 he founded the kingdom, which is called Lo (south) in the local language, a Tibetan dialect . Mustang is now part of Nepal .

The reigning king Jigme Palbar Bista until 2008 was his direct descendant in the 25th generation.
