Deborah ("Debbie") McCormick (born January 8, 1974 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan , Canada as Deborah Henry ) is an American curler . She plays in the position of Skip and is a member of the Madison CC .

McCormick took part in a total of five Curling Junior World Championships in 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994 . In 1992 and 1994 she won the silver medal and in 1993 the bronze medal.

At the World Curling Championships McCormick played five times in American teams, namely in 1996, 2001, 2003 and 2006 to 2009. In 2003 she won the title. In 1996 and 2006 she won the silver medal.

In 1998 McCormick first took part in the Winter Olympics, which were held in Nagano , Japan . The team in which McCormick played second came in fifth.

McCormick took third place in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . The team finished fourth after beating Canada 5-9 in the game for third place.

On February 28, 2009 McCormick won the US Olympic Curling Trails with her team Third Allison Pottinger , Second Nicole Joraanstad , Lead Natalie Nicholson , Alternate Tracy Sachtjen and played with her team at the XXI. Winter Olympics in curling. The team took tenth place.
