American Housing Survey

The American Housing Survey is a representative, annual, repeat survey of approximately 40,000 people in the United States (since 1973).

The survey is funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and conducted by the United States Census Bureau . It takes place every 2 years (in odd years). The primary goal is to follow the development of housing quality in the USA. To this end, over 100 parameters are collected.

The data can also be used for research (as a public use file ).
