The American Jewish Year Book (AJYB) is a yearbook of the American Jewish Committee that has been published intermittently since 1899 and has been published by Springer VS since 2008 . Initially it published jointly with the Jewish Publication Society . It sees itself as "The Annual Record of Jewish Civilization" and is published by Arnold Dashefsky and Ira Sheskin . The yearbook is devoted to the Jewish communities in the United States and Canada . Editions are supported by the Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies and the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Miami, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University of Connecticut , where the editors teach.
