Amerikiwhati Island is an uninhabited island in Queen Charlotte Sound in Marlborough on the South Island of New Zealand .
The island is free of predators and is home to the large-leaved milk tree ( Streblus banksii ), the little penguin and the spotted skink ( Niveoscincus ocellatus ).
