AmperOasis
The AmperOase is a leisure center with indoor and outdoor pools, sauna village and ice rink in the city of Fürstenfeldbruck . Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck act as the operator of the Amperoase . The leisure center is in close proximity to the Amper that gives it its name .
Facilities
In addition to an indoor and outdoor pool, the AmperOase has an ice rink and a sauna area. With the exception of the sauna area, these facilities are the only ones of their kind in the city of Fürstenfeldbruck.
Indoor swimming pool
The indoor pool has u. a. over a 25-meter swimmer pool heated to 28 ° C. In addition, the indoor pool offers a teaching pool with a water temperature of 30 ° C, a water play garden with a water temperature of 32 ° C, a water slide 75 m long and a whirlpool with a temperature of 34 ° C.
Sauna village
The following types of sauna are integrated in the sauna village: a Finnish sauna, a light sauna, an earth sauna and a loft sauna. The following facilities are also available: winter garden with bar, sweat floor, relaxation house, steam bath, showers, plunge pool, massage (on the first floor), solarium (on the first floor).
outdoor pool
The outdoor pool, directly accessible from the indoor pool area, contains u. a. a 50 m multi-purpose pool, a paddling pool, a water mushroom, a gargoyle, a sunbathing area and a sandy beach at Pavillon Beach.
Ice rink
The ice rink is equipped with a free ice surface of 30 × 60 m. The problem for club sports is that the only ice rink in the city is not covered, which is why a roof or the construction of a covered stadium elsewhere is often required. Regular users of the stadium are the FFB ice skating club and the Fürstenfeldbruck eV ice and roller sports club
Limitations in operation
Conversion of the checkout area in 2018
On July 30, 2018, the expansion and renovation of the checkout area began. After completion of the work at the end of 2018, the cash desk will be permanently occupied. In addition, a computerized cash register system will be installed. According to the technical director, Jürgen Kronauer, the renovation work is one of several reasons for the increase in admission prices from 2019.
Replacement of the ventilation system in 2015
In 2015, the entire ventilation system had to be replaced. The indoor pool was therefore closed for a total of three months from May 25th. The unaffected areas were still accessible. During the renovation, the price of the tickets was reduced by 30 percent.
Repeated lack of staff
Against the background of a recurring staff shortage, it is still questionable at the present time how the permanent staffing of the checkout area will be implemented. In May 2018, the indoor and outdoor pools could only be operated alternately, and from mid-November 2018 there were restrictions in the operation of the ice rink due to a lack of staff.
