Companies

Amper Shopping Center was founded in 1927 by Franz X. Klotz and is still family-owned today. The current managing directors are Klaus Klotz and Udo Klotz. The company operates 10 shopping centers around Munich and in the Fürstenfeldbruck and Dachau districts . With an estimated turnover of around 100 million euros, AEZ is one of the hundred largest retailers in Germany. AEZ works with regional producers for fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy products and baked goods. The company is involved regionally and donates around 40,000 euros annually for social purposes.

Cooperation Dohle trading group

The AEZ company has been cooperating with the Siegburger Dohle trading group since 2011 . Dohle again cooperates with the grocery retailer REWE in the areas of purchasing, financing and logistics , which is why AEZ also has REWE own brands in its range. This is not the first cooperation, a previous cooperation partner was Edeka . Another trading partner has been the organic brand Alnatura since 2009 , which offers almost its entire range through AEZ.

Action against food waste

In order to reduce food waste from AEZ stores, the AEZ store on Kurt-Huber-Ring began to dispense food free of charge on the last day of the best before date. As of October 2018, five of the ten AEZ stores are offering a food share box , according to the company website .
