Amsterdamse Bos
The Amsterdamse Bos ( German Amsterdamer Wald ) is a public park on the outskirts of Amsterdam .

The plant belongs to the city of Amsterdam, but is mainly located in the municipality of Amstelveen . The park was created in the 1930s. It covers about 1000 hectares and has 4.5 million visitors annually. An important part of the park is the Bosbaan in the north of the park, a rowing course opened in 1937 , the oldest artificially created in the world. It was converted to modern standards for the 1977 World Championships.
