Office Artern

The Amt Artern was an administrative unit of the part of the County of Mansfeld that fell after the sequestration of the Kursachsen .

history

The office, which had belonged to the Counts of Mansfeld since 1451, came to the Electoral Saxon part of the county after its sequestration in 1583. It was leased for a long time, temporarily together with the Voigtstedt office . After 1780 it passed into sovereign property. In 1808 it was united with Sangerhausen.
