Poznan Annals (929-1003)

The Posener Annalen (older edition, Latin Annales Posnanienses I ) are records of the history of the diocese of Posen from the 14th century. They are among the most important medieval chronicles in Polish history .

The annals contain news for the years 929 to 1079, 1279 to 1288 and 1339 to 1341. Their author is unknown, but he probably came from the Poznan cathedral monastery.

The annals contain some information not mentioned in other chronicles.
