The Drolshagen office was created in 1843/44 from the former parish or court of Drolshagen. The office existed until its dissolution in 1969.

The rural and urban parishes of Drolshagen belonged to the Drolshagen office . That was called "Drolshagen-Land" and consisted of the former mayor districts of Bleche, Herpel, Husten and Brachtpe.

history

In 1843/44 the rural and urban community of the same name were merged to form the Drolshagen district. In 1961 it had a size of 68.02 square kilometers 8,211 inhabitants.

The office belonging to the district of Olpe existed until 1969. On July 1 of that year the office was dissolved and its communities transferred to the enlarged city of Drolshagen. In the process, an area of ​​0.40 square kilometers came to Meinerzhagen and 0.48 square kilometers to Bergneustadt .
