Ana Cabecinha
Ana Cabecinha (born April 29, 1984 in Santiago Maior , Beja ) is a Portuguese athlete who reached eighth place in the 20-kilometer walk at the Olympic Games in 2008, and was sixth in 2016.
Cabecinha won the bronze medal at the 2003 Junior European Championships in 10,000-meter track walking. In 2005 and 2008 she won the Portuguese championship over this distance. In 2006 and 2010 she won the Ibero-American Championships over 10,000 meters.
In 2005 Cabecinha finished fourth at the U23 European Championships in 20-kilometer street walking. At the 2008 Olympic Games , she finished eighth over 20 kilometers and set a personal best in 1:27:46; As the best Portuguese woman, she was two places ahead of Vera Santos . Two years later she also finished eighth at the 2010 European Championships , but this time she was two places behind Vera Santos.
Her personal best over 20 kilometers is 1:27:46 hours, set at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. At a height of 1.68 meters, her competition weight is 52 kilograms.
