Ana María Ruggia

Ana María Ruggia is a Uruguayan politician .

The architect Ruggia is the only daughter of the politician Guillermo Ruggia (1896–1971). She was a member of the Junta Departamental of Montevideo and held the management function of the Department of Urban Planning and Culture ("Departamento de Planeamiento Urbano y Cultural") from 1985 to 1990. Ruggia belongs to the Partido Colorado and held a mandate as deputy senator in the Cámara de Senadores in the 44th legislative period from September 15, 1997 to September 24, 1997 .
