The Anales des Quimica was originally published from 1903 (Issue 1) to 1940 (Issue 36) as Anales de la Real Sociedad Española de Física y Química ( ISSN  0365-6675 , CODEN : ASEFAR). In 1941 (issue 37) the title was changed to Anales de Física y Química ( ISSN  0365-2351 , CODEN: AFQMAH) and remained as such until 1947 (issue 43). Then in 1998 (issue 44), the magazine was divided into two parts. On the one hand, the physically shaped section A Anales de la Real Sociedad Española de Física y Química / Ser. A, Física ( ISSN  0034-0871 , CODEN: ARSFAM) which became the Anales de Física in 1967 . On the other side was the chemically influenced section B, which was published until 1997 (issue 63) under the title Anales de la Real Sociedad Española de Física y Química / Ser. B, Química , ( ISSN  0034-088X , CODEN ARSQAL). This was continued from 1968 (issue 64) in the form of the Anales de Quimica ( ISSN  0365-4990 , CODEN: ANQUBU).

  • Anales de Química / Serie A, Química Física y Ingenieria Química ( ISSN  0211-1330 , CODEN: AQSTDQ)
  • Anales de Química / Serie B, Química Inorgánica y Química Analítica ( ISSN  0211-1349 , CODEN: AQSAD3)
  • Anales de Química / Serie C, Química Orgánica y Bioquímica ( ISSN  0211-1357 , CODEN: AQSBD6)

Between 1990 (issue 86) and 1995 (issue 91) the parts were reunited under the title Anales de Química . From the 92nd edition in 1992 to the end of the journal after the 94th edition in 1998, the journal was finally published as Anales de Química, International Edition ( ISSN  1130-2283 , CODEN: AQIEFZ) before being published in the European Journal of Organic Chemistry and the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry .

To continue the tradition of the Anales de Química , the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry published a new journal in 1999 called Anales de la Real Sociedad Española de Química .
