Anapu (Pará)
Anapu is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Pará . In 2010 there were 20,543 inhabitants in the 11,951.79 km area. Much of the Anapu rainforest has already fallen victim to massive deforestation . In 2019, an estimated 27,890 people lived in Anapu.
The place gained notoriety in 2005, after February 12th, after the murder of the religious sister, environmental activist and civil rights activist Dorothy Stang .
