Anatolian Federation
The Anatolian Federation is a Cologne- based umbrella organization of associations that are active in migrant work in Germany.
The association criticizes the government and opposition parties' policies on foreigners and immigration in Germany as being too restrictive. It calls for a more liberal treatment of immigration and greater rights for immigrants.
Observation by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution
The association is referred to by the protection of the constitution as the "surrounding organization" of the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party Front (DHKP-C), which is banned in Germany . The DHKP-C is on the list of terrorist organizations in the EU . During a search of the business premises of the association and the apartment of the first chairman in 2004, DHKP-C advertising material was discovered.
The AF denies the allegation that it is the cover club of the DHKP-C.
