Anaxibia (nymph)
Anaxibia ( Greek Ἀναξίβια ) is an Indian nymph in Greek mythology . When Helios saw her lost in the dance, longing seized him and he pursued her with the aim of rape her. But Anaxibia fled to the sanctuary of Artemis Orthia, which was on a mountaintop, luminary , near the Ganges , and disappeared. Helios, who could not find her, rose from grief from this mountain, which from then on was called Anatole , the rise, by the locals .
