Ancede is a place and a former municipality in northern Portugal .
Ancede belongs to the Baião district in the Porto district . The community had an area of 12.6 km² and 2511 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Ancede and Ribadouro were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Ancede e Ribadouro . Ancede is the seat of this newly formed community.
