Ancieto Camacho, brother of Ceferino Camacho , played for the Central Uruguay Railway Cricket Club (CURCC), which was the predecessor of Club Atlético Peñarol , since at least 1901 . From 1901 up to and including the season of 1906 he was part of the team's regular formation and acted in the role of the center forward. In 1901 and 1902 he was the club's most successful goalscorer with eleven and 15 goals respectively. In 1901 and 1905 he won unbeaten with the Montevideans and in 1905 without conceding the Uruguayan championship in the Primera División . In the same year he was also on September 3, 1905 in the final of the Copa Competencia Chevallier against Rosario Athletic on the court. However, the CURCC lost the game 3: 4 despite a goal from Camacho. In 1906 he left the Montevideans in the second half of the year, but returned in 1907. He was again a regular player and to win the championship as the undefeated title holder, he contributed a total of 15 goals that year. He was once again the most successful CURCC player in this regard. In 1908 he said goodbye again. That year, Horacio Pietropinto was the center-forward position in the CURCC team .
