Anders Nilsen is a Norwegian comedian and musician from Stavanger .

biography

Anders Nilsen played in various bands in his youth. At the age of 24 he went to Oslo to work as a comedian and found a job with Norwegian radio and television. Since January 2014 he has been the author of the NRK talk show Tabu med Abu .

He also runs a YouTube channel on which he publishes his own video productions. A newspaper report saying the saxophone was the hottest new instrument this year prompted him to create a parody of summer hits in 2014. In addition to the saxophone, he turned an accordion into a catchy dance beat. As a text he lined up Spanish expressions and names. To underline the parody, the song ends with “No hablo Español” - I don't speak Spanish. To this end, he created a video with summery images in which the text is faded in according to the cliché (“Lyrics Video”).

Within a very short time, the video developed into an Internet hit, reaching 600,000 views in 10 days and over a million views in three weeks. The song was released as a single in early July and rose to the top of the download charts in Norway and the Netherlands. In the Nederlandse Top 40 he went straight to number one and in his home country he also rose to number one in the second week .
