Andika ( Swahili : "Write!") Is a font for computer systems published by SIL International under a free license ( SIL Open Font License ) . It contains Unicode characters for numerous languages, especially minority languages worldwide that use the Latin writing system or the Cyrillic alphabet . It is designed to offer clear and clearly recognizable letter shapes especially for novice readers and to be able to be used in literacy campaigns. As of the end of 2019, version 5,000 from October 2014 is current.
